Il Luisenpark , il Herzogenriedpark, i vari musei che ci sono , tutte cose da vedere. Inoltre e vicino alla citta di Heidelberg , altro posto bello da visitare con il suo Castello e il fiume Neckar , cosi come la citta di Schwetzingen che ha un castello con un bellissimo parco.

The Christmas market is not the biggest but it is very nice. It has a larger variety of food etc than I've seen even at the bigger ones i.
The whole place is very easy to navigate, public transport is good and the main train station is very well located. Mannheim is also a very short trip away from Heidelberg which has a great castle and is lovely in the summer.
Mannheim seems to get a bad rep on the internet. However, look beyond some of the buildings and there is a surprising amount to see and do. It is definitely somewhere you could enjoy a long weekend and feel you've had value for money.
Mannheim is a pretty interesting city regarding the structure and buildings. You can just walk along the central streets and you will find something interesting along the way.
Otherwise, there is not very much. Just the University the castle and the water tower. What I found pretty interesting was "little Istanbul.
Not there long enough but what I did see I would go back for longer , great bars and restaurants, railway station will take you to other parts of Germany at reasonable prices, you can always find something to do.
I was hoping the hotel would either refund all or some or my money or postpone the room to a later date given the extenuating circumstances.

I uaed to live here, so the main purpose of my trip was visiting friends. What I like about the city is that it offers excellent shopping, great museums, and a wide variety of top quality ethnic restaurants that are amazing value for money as well as haute cuisine.
The music scene is also really awesome from opera in the Nationaltheater to jazz in the Alte Feuerwache and many more more smaller venues offering great variety.
